COSY FAMILY LIVING ROOM
Biophilic design brings a sense of wellbeing to this informal family living room. Lush plants and other nature-inspired colours and textures are balanced with neutral walls, creating a cosy laid-back vibe for everyday comfort and relaxation.
BRIGHT AIRY DINING ROOM
From meals to homework to entertaining friends, this dining room is in use for most of the day, so it needed to be bright and welcoming. White and pale grey brighten up this previously beige room and provide a classic base palette. Built-in alcove cupboards and shelves add useful storage and space to display books and plants, which pop thanks to the dark backdrop. Vintage dining furniture was updated with dark stain and paint, while a beautiful mirror above the cast iron fireplace bounces light into the room.
TRADITIONAL CLOAKROOM WITH A QUIRKY SLANT
The owner wanted an unusual design for this smallest room in the house, something that gave a visitor lots to look at, while still feeling traditional to suit the rest of the house. The wallpaper design which is made up of vintage photos does just that and the quirkiness continues into the roman blind fabric, which was custom printed from a 1905 cartoon.
SERENE MASTER BEDROOM
A gorgeous upholstered bed takes centre stage in this bedroom. The rest of the decor is layered with neutral tones and textures, thus balancing drama with restfulness.
FUN VIBRANT CHILD’S ROOM
This room was such a fun project! It was designed for a wonderful little 2 year old who is wild about animals and loves to read. The vibrant blue wall colour makes this a happy energetic space. The gallery can easily be changed if needed to cater for different interests. The reading nook has become a much-loved space that is not just for reading, but also for building dens and make-believe games. The resident of this room is now nearly 6 and still loving his room! 🙂
FAMILY HOME OFFICE
Young children love to be where the grownups are, so this loft home office was designed with a desk space for each member of the family. The once-magnolia room was brought to life with a beautiful blue paint colour, while bright white sloped ceilings keep the space feeling light. Existing office furniture was reused in the adult side while the children’s side was furnished with adorable mini desks and chairs, and a practical ledge and magnetic board painted in the same colour as the walls. Pretty accessories and art make this a happy space to work.
VINTAGE INSPIRED GUEST BEDROOM
Soft colours and vintage prints and patterns bring timeless romance to this guest bedroom.
