A BIT ABOUT ME

Hello, I'm Meera. For as long as I can remember, I have been inspired by nature, colour, tactile textures and the history of architecture, but my academic path was more mathematical than creative. After gaining a BSc Hons in Actuarial Science, I fell into a statistical career, and when I started decorating my first home, my love for interior design was ignited. I understood firsthand how a person's surroundings can have a strong impact on their wellbeing, and how a well-considered and well-designed home can nurture, provide sanctuary and contentment, and make a person feel truly at home.

I wanted to learn more about interior design, so I retrained by studying around my job. After gaining qualifications with distinctions in interior design, there was no denying where my heart was, so I left my corporate career and First Sense Interiors was born.

Now I love nothing more than seeing my clients' joy as their space is transformed. I appreciate all interior styles from traditional to contemporary, cottage to urban loft, and relish the variation that each project brings.
