Colour inspiration: Olive green

It’s no secret that blue is my favourite colour (I explain why I love this colour so much in this article), however there is another colour that I have been loving A LOT for quite a while – a few years at least, so I know it’s not just a passing fad – and that is olive green. This colour has been increasingly making its way into my wardrobe. Really, I’m surprised I haven’t brought more of this colour into my interiors yet. When the building work for my home renovation is done, I will definitely be fixing this. Olive green works beautifully with lots of other colours; I especially love it with black and white, pale pink, red, blue, gold and wood tones. Here are 10 inspiring spaces rocking olive tones:

What do you think of olive green in interiors? Does it remind you of decades gone by or do you love the modern take on this colour?

That tiled bathroom is just beautiful! Looks perfect with the gold fittings. We have the same favourite colours. All my t-shirts are either blue or olive green, haha. These images really inspire me to apply green more to my decor. Have to take the plunge!
